This is part of the new Ritz-Carlton tower being built off of Wellington St. in downtown Toronto, by the CBC building (top right corner). The soaring RBC Centre construction is behind it to the left.

These buildings – particularly the RBC Centre – already look fabulous at night. The empty but well-lit windows look almost cartoonish with a long exposure. This particular shot is a 3-image HDR assembled in Photomatix using tone compression. But it looks great in a normal shot too. Like an idiot, I didn’t bring a tripod – but I’m getting better at leaning against things and holding my breath for three long exposures

That platform looks like they are building an Imperial Star Destroyer or something. Love the bright crane colours, too.

A collection of images I took of a very eclectic home just outside of Adelaide. It was one of the most interesting homes I had seen from an interior/exterior design point of view. It may not be to everyone’s taste, but you can’t say the owner hasn’t put in a solid effort!

These images are lit either by off-camera flash, blended (manually by layers/masks in Photoshop CS4) or blended flash-lit exposures.

Lightroom 2 was used for all photos to begin with, and they were then edited in Photoshop where required.
